More Than Makeup
Maskcara, and being faithful, have really helped me accomplish the everyday tasks.

Maybe 8 ish months ago, it felt as if I was going through the motions, doing the bare minimum to survive each day. My appearance was reflecting how crummy I felt on the inside. So I started to make a change. I’d make the bed, get a shower, put on a quick face of makeup.
It started with the small, but basic, stuff. It starts with the little things. The mundane. The constant wiping of butts and noses. The reality is, the happenings everyday are the big stuff. I’m not saying putting your makeup on is going to change your life, but it can be a step in the right direction of being faithful in the small things, which becomes the big things.
Being faithful to be an example to our children, that caring for our appearance brings God glory, that being a steward of the resources he’s given us brings Him glory, that making their beds, brushing their teeth, and putting on deodorant are good, small habits that require daily discipline. I pray that as they learn to be faithful in those little things, they’ll be faithful in the bigger things, like when God calls them to obedience in new and scary ways, or when they become fathers.
It can feel “vain” sharing about makeup, but it’s not that...I want to help you feel your best - I want to help you feel ready to face the day. Maskcara, and being faithful, have really helped me accomplish the everyday tasks. And for that, I’m grateful.
